Anything is possible if you have the money and fab skills to throw at it. I'm looking to do a cummins swap with mine. I've got all that I need except money and time...

I read allot on the cummins swap. Didn't look like allot of expense if you've got a complete cummins to throw at it.....power steering, ac, slave cylinder, intercooler. I went to the salvage yard this morning when i got off work and run in sheer excitement when I saw a new Dodge Cummins addition to the inventory. Had to have been put on the yard in the last four days...............stripped! Even most all of the electronics out of the cab were stripped. Seats were left, but I wasn't sure if that was a doable swap. The truck actually looked nice. The grill, hood and fenders were gone, so I don't know if it was wrecked or what. Also found a 6.0l f250 turbo diesel that must have come in at the same time. Also stripped! I guess you gotta camp out and hope for one of these beauties to magically appear and fend off our fellow scavengers.

Cheapest easiest would be find a complete f250, and chop the frame , and swap beds,

There was one running around here a few years back, a 2wd f250, with f150 4x4 ttb and 8.8 axles, when people asked if it was a diesel, he would ask why? With the diesel rattling away.

Those 6.0s were junk. Ive heard nothing but problems with them. Do any of you get diesel power. I read one in my boces class cause you have to read for 30 min but anyway somebody did the same thing but with a flareside box. He used an f250 and cut the frame off some in the back and put the flareside box on. I think he left all the f250 axels and such though just chopped the frame and box swap
