Default Fuel tank help

I think my fuel tank has a tiny hole in it. I was on autozone.com and they have several diff ones. How do I know what I need. I have a 96 f150 xlt short bed 4x4 and it has a single tank. Can someone help me ?

Is it rear or front tank? I think rears are 19 gal and fronts are 17 gal. Your Ford hand book should give the fuel capacity.

If there's gas coming out then there would be a hole.

Is the filler door in front of or behind the rear wheel opening?

I'm pretty sure it's behind it but it has been messed up for so long I can't remember would you be able to tell it there was a pin hole ?

If the tank is rusty then I would say there's probably a hole. You need to find out where it's coming from, it could be a line.

Then you will need a rear tank if it does have a hole.
