Default Fuel pump relay question

I have a 1994 F150XLT with a 5.0. I have dual fuel tanks.
Last night my truck was running fine. I stopped and turned it off for a moment, and it wouldn't start. I flipped the fuel switch to the rear tank and it started and ran fine. I switched back to the front tank and it died instantly. So....my fear is the fuel pump pooped out. However, I'm hoping its the relay. I see the relay's in power box under the hood, but nothing is marked for the fuel pump. My question is there a single relay for both pumps? Is there a way to identify which relay is for what? I'm just looking for the easier repairs before replacing the pump. I haven't worked on cars/trucks in years....anyadvice in simple terms would be appreciated!

The relay controls both pumps - if one of them is working, then the relay works. It's more likely the pump or fuel pump selector switch that has failed. Measuring fuel pressure at the rail would be the first step. Or if you have access to a spare fuel pump selector switch you can swap it out and see if it fixes the problem.

Airing up the tires - that's an easy one. Touching up the paint is a pretty easy repair, too.

Don't worry about what's easy. Find the root cause of the problem, and fix it using top-quality parts & published procedures. Anything else is a waste of time, money, & effort. Read these captions:
