Default Fuel Pump info

I have a 93 f150 XLT and it seems one of my fuel pumps is failing. it will idle and even sometimes rev out in nuetral but under load theres no power and even from take off wont go...sputters and coughs but never stalls.

Switch tanks and its like new again, so Im pretty sure we are talking fuel pump.. SO how much for a new fuel pump and how many hours to change it?

Jory

i unfortunatly just had to replace both mine. I removed the bed so it was easier for access. Including removing the bed it took about 2 hrs and was $150 for each pump

I've replaced both of mine. Did the "drop the tank method". A floor jack will be your best friend if you go by this method. It's been a while since I did this, but I'm thinking the price was more like 80 bucks per.
