Post a pic of the valve they gave you. Whatever it is, it probably doesn't go to your truck.

Wel I replaced the FDM and found a check valve inline on outside of tank and replaced that. $110 for valve from ford and $140 for FDM from Napa. Seems to running good on both tanks and currently testing bleed problem into front tank which I belive was a bad check valve. Anyways seems I have an EGR code so I will change that next. Thank you so much 5ranger for your time and expertise....Bill

Well Bill, thanks for the compliment, but in my case, even a blind squirrel finds a nut once in a while.
There are lots of super smart guys on here... I'm basically a rookie, Sean is Da Man.

Egr is excellent thread material, if you think you need too feel free to start a new one.

with a new fuel pump (FDM) and an external check valve the truck seems to be running well on both tanks. I am testing bleed back into front tank now but I believe check valve shouls solve that problem. I posted this reply a week or so ago but i dont see it here so ill try again. Thanks again 5rangers you have been a huge help...Bill

The best way I know to put pictures in here is to load them into your photobucket, then copy the "img" code and past THAT here and like magic the picture shows.

I know what you're talking about now, the recall fix.
