I have a 95 F150 4.9 and the gas guage is stuck past full on both tanks. Sending units on tank both show resistance plus the front is brand new. Not sure what the specs should be though. I tested the switch and it is working. Any way to test the guage itself? I tried jumping teminals on the tank selector switch connector and there was no change on the guage.

I just want to make sure it is not a wiring issue before replacing the guage. How common is it for guages to go bad?
