fuel filter question

Default fuel filter question

how do i remove the lines from my fuel filter? do they just twist and pull off? 94 f150

You need a special fuel lines disconnecting tool, like this one, can't remember the right colour

For my 88 f 150 all you have to do is pull/pry a little white clip off the bracket, one on each side of the filter. Then the line will pretty much fall off.

Mines nothing like the picture above.

There's a '93 on the picture, they must be the same with '94

yeah i have same as the picture and mine is a 94. i cant wedge a tool between my filter and fuel line to get it off though. its frustrating

Yeah I was wondering as well. I have the one in the picture ( Haynes shows the one with white clips ) and even though I have the lil tool, I still couldn't get mine off? Tried for about 20 mins.... Dunno

It's supposed to be red one or yellow one - I just don't remember. It doesn't fit too good between filter and fuel line connection, but it took about 5 minutes for me to disconnect both lines from the filter.

Be sure to bleed pressure off the line,and then slide the disconnect
tool into the spring fingers . You have to hold pressure on the fingers
to lift them up enough to disengage them.
