Ok, great. Will something other than a saw cut this thing? I can't really manage to fit anything up there beside maybe a pair of wire cutters. The position of this thing is truly a son of a bitch...

Not sure...mine doesn't have that problem. When I take the bracket off I have plenty of room. I used some big plier things that had cutters on them.

I made my cousin cut the filter, it was his vehicle. I don't remember what he used but I did get the line off for him. One of those ^^^^^ will work.

Drop the fuel tank out of the way. It takes about 5 min.

i tried doing mine 4 months ago, i had the same problem, got 1 side off but the other wouldn't go. i finally gave up and took it to my mechanic. took him 35 min to get it off and he decided not to charge me since it was such a pain to get off lol.

Dang! Glad to hear I don't have the one malfunctioning fuel line in America! I will try all of these things. Thank you guys a bunch, and will let you know the results asap...

It seems the rear one is always the problem. I've never had trouble with the front. We'll see how it goes next filter change.

1. Get one of these in a 5/16"
2. Take off the two nuts that hold the bracket that holds the filter.
3. You should have enough room to take the filter out (very easiy if these steps are followed)
