Default Front differential code

'88 F150

3.54 E8TA LD
610335-3

I've gathered that 3.54 is the gear ratio. All I'm confused on is if it's limited slip or not? Any ideas?

Thanks

very very doubtful it has an LS in the front, they are very very rare.

i'm betting your axle code on the door is H9 which is 3.55 gears and an LS in the rear.
and yes the factory put the 3.54 in the front but the rear has 3.55,

Yeah I do have 3.55 ls in the rear.

I just can't seem to find details on the front axle

I have seen exactly two trucks with factory front limited slips. One had a funny axle code, I can check the cab, I think It had two letters then the number. It was an xlt lariat, and probably the nicest truck I every destroyed. You jack up one wheel, lock the hubs and try to rotate the wheel, if its really hard to turn , you might be in luck, If you just spin the driveshaft, Its either open, or the clutches are shot.

Its probably open.
