All of a sudden today my four wheel drive engaged on its own so I stopped and took it out which it did come out but not even a block away it engaged again

 

It means your truck wants you to use the 4x4, probably. For off-roading. Seriously though, it sounds like an electrical issue if its a push button. Something could be shorting out or grounding and sending power to the transfers ecu telling it to shift.

 

I take her out every weekend haha and my friends dad said it could be the selonoid

 

And I trust him he has been a mechanic at aps for 15 years haha
