floor console recommendations
After two years, I'm finally tired of not having cupholders in the truck. For those of you with a bench seat or similar, do you have a floor console that you like? Looking specifically for a center one that sits on the hump that at least partially matches the interior.
Found some salvage options on eBay and a site called cupholdersplus.com that has some nice looking ones, but $100+ was more than I was thinking it would cost initially!

The '92-96 bench cupholders can be easily fitted to older benches. There are at least 2 styles for F-series; this is the larger one:
(phone app link)
If you stick to pre-'94, the colors should match (except tan/mocha).

Thanks for the link, I'll keep these in mind during my search. I have an auto, so no shifter or anything to worry about, so I'd ideally like something longer that fills that whole floor space in the center that has the cupholders/storage space.

You're describing something aftermarket or homemade. Ford didn't offer something like that on these trucks.

Our trucks are from an era of, when trucks were trucks and men were men . Not like now days when someone buys and new F150, they head cross county with the whole family for a vacation
Just joking. I wish I had a couple cup holders in my truck

The advantage of a factory cupholder is that if you want to move the seat forward for any reason, the cupholder moves with it.
Something mounted to the floor in front of it eliminates the possibility of moving the seat, even if you want to just get something from behind it.
So I would suggest that the factory one is the better way to go.
The slots are already in the seat frame for the hardware even if the truck didn't come with cupholders originally (92 to 96 for sure anyway).

Yeah that's a good point, didn't think about the seat movement. Though, I have maybe slid it forwards or backwards less than five times, I'm tall so keep it all the way back pretty much. I'll have to take a look again to see if I can confirm the '90 bench has the slots or not.

It's dimples in the tube along the bottom front edge at the center. You might be able to feel them through the upholstery, but I don't think they were designed in until '92. But it's easy enough to drill them.
