Does anyone know what the flashing light for the airbag means on 94 model?

It means that the computer has picked up a problem with the airbag system. When that light is flashing the airbag system will not work in the event of a crash. You need to take it to a shop and have it diagnosed. As for the cost. Its hard to tell what that will be until the problem is known. Its NOT common for any light to come on and flash.

Probably air bag sensor up front or clock spring in steering colum. Both might seem pricey, but how much would you pay if you were about to crash head on into a tree.

Thanks guys.......a friend told me this was VERY common on 94 models. This light is flashing three times then a pause, flashing 3 times...etc.
This is happening on my 94 Bronco, and a friend of mine just bought a 94 Bronco and his is doing the same thing!!
Problem is he says it's an $800.00 repair?!!?? Sounded a little pricey to me, and was wondering if anybody had any experience with it. My 96 F-150 has never done this.....

Check the airbag fuse if it is blown the light will do that.

$350 on my 2001 is the estimate. (That includes the $88 diagnostic fee).

count the light sequence, and google the number of flashes, it will point to the problem.
