Default Flash full beam

Good morning folks,
Been working on my truck a lot recently to get her back on the road. I’ve a quick question re headlights if you all can help me out. Sounds daft, I know, but how do I flash my full beams/brights? Like we all do to acknowledge someone who lets us out of a junction, cop with speed camera or you’ve left your lights on friend kinda thing. I’ve pushed forward on the indicator stalk, or turn signals if you prefer, and nothing happens. Am I just supposed to quickly double tap the floor switch?

Thanks in advance and also for all the times I’ve lurked about the forum looking for answers.

Cheers
Geordie

So, what’s supposed to happen when I push the turn signal stalk forwards? Flux capacitor engaged or is something else non functional on my beauty?

Nothing that I know of, at least on my trim level.

Could be for tilt steering on some years and trim levels, or I guess if it was ordered that way.

yes, on certain trims, you could get a tilt column, which is operated by pushing the turn signal stalk forward towards the dash. I wonder if someone makes a footswitch that has a "middle" position that adds this feature.
