Default Fixing bronco tailgate

How do i get my tailgate to work in my 88 bronco. I saw the wires were all ripped and corroded where the goes in between the gate and body. I tested for power which they had but i cant get the window motor to work. The motor is good but when i plug it in to the harness i get nothing. And all the little tabs for the heated window strips whatever glue holds them on how do i get them to stick back on or will supper glue work fine for those

Pretty sure there's a switch that doesn't allow the window to operate unless the gate is closed, could be a problem with that.

once you find the window interlock, be careful running the window out when the tail gate is down....make sure you have something/someone to support the glass as it comes out.

I believe there is a conductive glue especially for the defroster tabs
