Default First time doing body work

I backed up into my buddys car a while back and fixed the hole in my fiberglass this weekend. Took a few pics thought I would share them. I'm overall happy with the work seeing how it was my first time, spent about $60 on everything needed to get the job done.

How it looked after a little sanding...

After Bondo fiberglass and epoxy...

Looks like tried posting the pics straight from your email. You need to host them somewhere like here or any third party image hosting site ie photobucket or image shack etc

Well it is better, but still pretty rough work man. Your fiberglass resin needs more sanding, then a coat of sandable primer or first a coat of a very fine filler then primer. Then it needs to be sanded and cleaned. Then painted.

But its fiberglass, so no worries about it rusting , its kind of a hard curve to work , better to build the fiberglass almost to where you want the surface, then use the bondo to build it from there, because its easier to sand , those outside curves always drive me nuts. It took alot of trying to get from inventing a wheel, to Henry Ford.

There is a cool cheese grater looking thing that helps "shred" the fiberglass off then you can fine tune it. Gets the big stuff off.
