So where should I set it for a 48,000V coil?

"If" stock is .044, go .052-.054 w/ Copper Cores. Nic plated if you can find em.
Motorcraft preferably, but a lot of people do Autolites.

Although I'd try to get rid of the miss first. Then again it may be the plugs you running causing it. Check for cracked insulators when you pull em. Also look for a plug(s) that look different than the rest. Note what cylinder.

I have an MSD 48,000V coil and granatelli wires. Currently have E3 plugs, but will be changing them back to regular plugs soon. Also want to bump my timing a little.

What are you using for an air filter?

Not a big fan of those on a MAP engine. It tends to lean it out. OK for MAF's that monitor actual air flow.
