Question a few problems...

Hi. I have a few issues I would like to address.
Problem #1) This may fall into place with the second problem, I am just doing this in chronological order... okay, after we paid for the truck it was my job to drive it home. The guy we bought it from said the clutch is going out and it has an idle problem. On the drive home (which was about 13 miles, mostly highway) at lower speeds the truck was fine, but at highway speeds she would sputter and chug very bad! She would never really die, but she would come close, I found it very strange. It was almost like it feels when you are running out of gas... but like I said, this may have a lot to do with my next problem...
Problem #2) My truck's Idle is all messed up. When the IAC is plugged in, the engine will rev up to 2500+ by itself, and calm back down to about 1200 and then shoot back up to almost 3000 rpm's. When we UNPLUG the IAC, the truck idle's at a steady 750 rpm's. We did a diagnostic on it and we go the codes as follows... 44, 34, 22, 34, 22, and 34. then we shut it off. 44 means "Air injection control system failure" 34 means "EGR valve circuit of out self-test range" and 22 means "MAP sensor circuit out of range." So, my husband is going to clean the EGR.... and he said we will go look for a new MAP at a junk yard on tuesday.
and last but not least
Problem #3) Clutch. The guy we got it from said the clutch is going out. It is very hard to put into gear, but once it is in gear it is just fine. Its the hardest to get it into 2nd and 4th gear... but 3rd is pretty tricky too (its only a 4spd) Reverse is the easiest. now he said that he has replaced the master cylinder and something else... my husband (who knows quite a bit about cars) said it doesnt really make sense that it is the clutch.. maybe something with the transmission... but we ordered a clutch already and we are going to put it in this week hopefully... I just really hope it solves the problem.

I am looking for input that anyone may have. This is my husband's first Ford :P (Im slowly turning him!!) so we will have questions every now and then.

Oh, and one more thing... I would like to put a lift on my truck... anyone have any suggestions on where I can get a lift kit for a good price?

Sorry I have a 1990 F150. She has a 302, and a T18 4 spd Tranny. My husband said I forgot to mention that when we have the IAC plugged in... it stays at the HIGH rpm's for quite a while, and then after a minute or two it will go down again... and then shoot back up and stay there for a while again. I will go a head and throw in a picture of her too!

Check all vacuum lines for leaks. You can put butane over the lines and if there is a leak, the idle will surge. I can almost guarantee you there is a vacuum leak somewhere with the air injection system. The MAP sensor using vacuum from the intake manifold to operate, so a bad vacuum line would cause a vacuum leak and the MAP sensor code to trigger. Just first check all the vacuum lines and report back!

also, a vacuum line gauge would be handy to make sure all lines are drawing the proper amount of vacuum
