Default Fender flares...for cheaper?

I really like the bushwacker pocket and cut out style (the ones where you see the bolts), however not a huge fan of ponying up around 500ish for a set of four. Are there any other cheaper and similar good options that anyone went with or know of. Pics help too.
Thanks

You could make them out of cardboard if you really want to be cheap, but aside from that, I haven't seen any flare for our trucks that anywhere near affordable

That is what i was worried about. Not really trying to be cheap, but "affordable" as you said would be what I am looking for. Its just for at least right now I don't think the cost is justified.

Unless your state laws don't allow you to have tires sticking out past the fenders, I don't see it being worth it ever. If you gotta do it to make the truck legal, then so be it. If you're handy you may be able to make some, but that would require a lot of know how I would think

cheap, but it works...
had a buddy who would always get tickets when he drove his off road rig on the road. Well he would drive it up the the trails and thats about it. He thru bolted some garden/lawn edging on there, the stuff stuck out about 4", when he got the the tails he pop it off.

It was this stuff...

here is what I was looking for...
