Default Factory Vacuum Lines

Hello all. I was wandering if anyone else has trouble with the plastic brittle vacuum lines on the motor. Ive searched to find oem still with no results. Are the black rubber lines from parts stores the only aftermarket options.

are you looking for a diagram or for a place to get more of the hard plastic stuff? If you're looking for just the hard plastic line, look for like pneumatic tubing, sounds strange but I have done a lot of work with pneumatics and I think they come in small enough sizes that would work for vacuum lines. Don't quote me on it but i am pretty sure there is some hard plastic lines available too. Been 2 years since I've done any ordering of that stuff.

i have many of diagrams and pictures but alot of the plastic tubing is broke where they make alot of the bends. i assume new tubing is coiled in a box? do you heat it and bend it to form?

No reason to choose the plastic over rubber, the rubber should outlast the plastic. Now you want to get fancy, use hard line.

So if the plastic is good why do you want to replace them?

The plastic is no good, and the rubber is no good. Once again I fail to see the preference for plastic when both lasted equally.

I need to replace quite a bit of the vac lines. I've been told that you can't replace the plastic lines with the rubber lines because the rubber lines will collapse. Is that not true? I've been looking for all new hard plastic lines, but haven't found any anywhere.
