Default Exhaust question

Any one had any experience with the Magnaflow 93312? It's a y pipe and cat. Two pieces joined before the cat after the s bend. Some only one review that says the connectors at the headers were 1/2" off. Wasn't sure it was just a defuegalty. One place says will fit 96 5.8 another lists it for 5.0. Just wondering if anyone has used it. Thanks a bunch

My bad. The 93324 has a good review in the "prime" store I use. The 93312 has some guy complaining about the o2 bung being too far away. Still curious if they work good

Ok, I JUST bought this for my 5.0 (part number is different between 5.8 and 5.0) and it's a perfect fit. The cat comes separately and goes on via slip fit. That guy complaining about the O2 bung is an idiot. Your O2 sensor will be in the same spot. Maybe he was trying to cram the sensor into the air injection tube on the cat???? Hell I don't know...

Anyways, I say go for it. Once I installed it, I actually ran it with no muffler for a couple days (sounds alright, but too loud for my tastes) so I picked up a flowmaster 50 from the junkyard and clamped it on. Sounds good now.

EDIT: If you have a 5.0 then you need the 93324. If you have a 5.8 then you need the 93312.

Yeah I wasn't sure what the dude was complaining about. I like the fact that the 93312 is two pieces. That way if I ever decide to get rid of converters it won't be a headache. I have a cherry bomb extreme going into magnaflow stainless tailpipes. Would like to do all stainless cause had a system rust out in less than a year. Thanks for the input bud

Both systems are two pieces. What engine do you have?
