Post Exhaust Project

Check this out... Ive FINALLY saved up enough money without being snagged up with other costs to buy a legitiment exhaust system. To get the background info out of the way, i CANT run a TRUE dual system because i have two gas tanks, which means i also can't run an X or an H pipe. Looking to run headers into a Y-pipe all through 2.25 inch piping. Ive already got my hands on new Gibson Headers, and a universal high flow cat (just for legal purposes). Looking to buy a flowmaster super 44 muffler. but im stuck on this part because im not sure if there was any air flow or performance difference between a SI/SO (single in/single out) muffler with dual pipe adaptor, or a SI/DO (single in/dual out) muffler. sounds funny but i cant get my hands on a super 44 flowy with 2.25 inlet/outlet piping. lol any opinions or help with this will truly be appreciated.

Haha no joke i considered it, but no go cuz i dont wanna go through the work of taking the bed off and putting it back on. i had to do that once and it was a hassle for me. but yea im gonna run the pipes out the front of the back tires, just they will be dual exit after the muffler. itll sound and look good i know that, just need to know if the air flow will be even with a split adaptor after the muffler. its a single in, single out flowmaster muffler
