im about to buy a new exhaust and i wanted to know if it would make a differnce if i clamted it instaed of welding it i know it would look better if i welded it but i just want to clamp it on would it make it sound different or will there be any problems from clamping it

Clamping deforms the pipe, which lowers horsepower but not by much.

clamps also cause leaks and those suck.
