Default Engine Swapping Help/Recommendations?

Alright guys, I'm gonna be doing some work in the future(A year or so, when I have the money). Im thinking of swapping out my good old 300 for a 460 or a 351W. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE the 300, it's just got 300K miles on it(Haha, nothing to a 4.9 right?) and I just want some more power to the pedal. Make it even more of a showpiece for the future.

So I'm at a dilemma. Should I swap in a 460 or a 351W? I hear theyre both great engines, but I want to know a little more about them. At least compared to the 300. Basically there are a few key things I'd want to know, I'll list them right here:

-Cost Effectiveness
-Horsepower/Torque
-Gas Mileage(I don't care about that though, I already get pretty bad mpg as it is and I support it fine.)
-Parts needed for swap.
-Longevity
-Aftermarket Parts Availability
-Difficulty of maintenance

Also, if you know of somewhere that I can build up a 300 for some more power, I wouldn't mind knowing. I haven't completely decided and I really like the 300, I just want a little bit more punch to it.

Help with both engines compared to the 300 would be a big help, but if you only know about one of them then please let me know what you have to say!

Thanks in advance!

If I was gonna swap, id do the 460. 300 has room for minor improvement (timing bump etc) or turbo, but ud need some rebuilding for that. Reason id do the 460 is bc itd need less upgrading for the power, and closer to stock means more reliability. Would need a big block trans, though.

The most cost effective way would be the 351. And you can get a stroker kit for it to somewhere in the 380 cube range. Should put out pretty good power and not break the bank, depending on your bank lol

Rebuild the 300 with forged internals and slap a charger on it and call it a day.

Instead of starting a whole new post on the same subject, I will just ask my question here, and not trying to steal the thread. I have a 93 f150 302 and was wanting to get another 302 motor to rebuild and modify, do I need a 302 from a 93 f150 or could i use a mustang block or different year motor from f150? And what mods do you think I should do for the best performance for the budget minded people?

Sorry not trying to thread jack, I have posted quite a bit of random posts and don't want to be hogging up the forum

Yours is a very different question, and deserves its own thread.

It is not a very different question, I'm asking about swapping motors to the same size just what I needed for different years and if they would work or not
