Ok my 95 F150, 2WD, 300 I6, E4OD auto. Needs a new engine (cracked block) Im wondering will a 302 bolt up to my tranny. If not what would you recommend as a good match for a 302 with a 4bbl. Thanks for your time guys.

The 300 six and the 302 have the same 6 bolt bell. The trannies are easy to find used that work if you ever have a problem. As far as mileage goes though, I don't know what you consider decent.

If your swaping to a 302,i would go with fuel injection as it will be more fuel efficient and not that hard to swap the harness & computer.
