Default Engine runs hot with AC on ?

I've had my AC system replaced by local dealer and all leaking seals. I've noticed that the temp gage seems to climb up to the hot side when setting in traffic or at long lights with AC on. Once moving again it will begin to cool down but will heat up again. ......... What can it be? The AC will blow warm when temp climbs. 96 4.9 5 spd 193000 mi

That's exactly what my truck did when the fan clutch went bad.

yep cant pull enough air when sitting still the the hot air from the AC condenser saturates the radiator.... thats making your truck hot...

I would think fan clutch also, but don't overlook the incredibly simple things (I know I do it way more than I'd like to admit)...for example, make sure there is plenty of coolant in the system and it has been 'burped.' A flush probably couldn't hurt either if it hasn't been done recently.

X2. There is no way to really answer for sure on a overheat question without further inspection. Just give your cooling system a good checkup. Its a good idea anytime you service the a/c.

Make sure the radiator/condenser are clean.
