Default Emergency indicator lamp

Is the red emergency indicator button when pressed, and it pops upwards, supposed to have a bulb in that lights up? Mine doesn't IF there is a bulb in there. I have both covers off the column now and before putting them back in place would replace the bulb if there is one there. I couldn't see any apparent location or wires leading into the button.

I do not think there is a bulb there. If the emergency button is activated your blinkers will flash.

Thanks everyone. I can put the covers back in place and be done. Although I am tempted to enlarge the hole that the ignition key ring passes through. In order to remove the cover I had to remove the ignition key portion...sigh....thinking I can cut the opening larger and make a soft rubber boot/flap and glue it on the inside of the cover. Then again I shouldn't be taking this cover off and on much, so may pull the key and do it right once more.
