Is electronic 4wd possible
I have seen a thread here about 2wd to 4wd conversion, only because of an interest to do this myself and looking for others before me. However I am wandering if it is possible to do this as an eloctronic or what would seem more like an electro-mechanical 4wd?
Why or why not?

Our trucks came with push button 4wd with auto hubs as an option. I recently had to replace the electronic shift motor sourced at u pull it yards. Only found one Bronco with the motor out of about 30 I looked at, all others had the manual lever t case and saw no other auto hubs at all.

Looks like if I really want 4wd it's going to be manual. I think I found one 4wd truck at local pull a part. At first I was going to grab the sway bars and brackets, however I really want 4wd so why not get those parts to. It's cheaper than buying a newer truck with it already there.
Will it be an easy thing to know what parts I need to take off of the salvage truck?

For a 4WD conversion you will need a lot of stuff - off of the top of my head: Transmission, transfer case and shifter, both drive shafts (rear needs to be off of an identical wheelbase), complete front axle hub to hub - probably best to just grab radius arms and all if its cheap enough. I am unfamiliar with the 91 dash so I'm not sure if you need anything there - on a 92-96 you would need a new bezel for the 4wd indicator lights. I'm sure I am forgetting stuff.
