Default egr help please

I tried a search but didn't find much, though I know I read something about it on here before, so...

I have a '90 with a 5.0 and recently started to get a miss on acceleration. Think I can feel it at idle, too.
I know it's not plugs, wires, cap or rotor. I DID NOT have a check engine light.

I ran the codes with a Equus 3145 and got the following:

KOEO just code 32 EGR pressure feedback fault ('85-'89 models), though mine is a '90.

KOER codes
44 thermactor air system fault
33 EGR valve fault/not closing properly
13 RPM at idle low/out of range
77 operator error during dynamic response test/wide open throttle not sensed
52 power steering pressure switch open

I've got a Haynes '80 thru '96 Pick Ups and Bronco guide, but all I can find is a blip about the EGR valve position sensor.
I can check the volts and resistance of the sensor, per the book, but not the resistance while appling vacume (unless it can be done with truck running).

The book has nothing on checking the EGR valve itself. Just the valve position sensor.

I am also worried about the thermactor air system fault code.

Can't the EGR be tested/cleaned some how? Should I do that before testing the valve position? Which is more common to fail, or do they go at the same time?
Any help, advice or a point in the right direction would be appreciated.
I just saved enough money for new tires for this winter, and want to avoid replacing egr and the position sensor if possible (who doesn't).

Sorry for the long post, and thanks in advance.

I have the same Haynes as you and it has several pages about how to check the EGR. You can remove it and clean it too, use carb cleaner. Also use the code definitions in the Haynes book, the ones you wrote are opposite of what mine say. If the definitions came from your scanner it has generic definitions for all vehicles while the book has F150 specefic definitions.
