Question

the egr system on the 9th gen trucks have a few sensors that you will need to some how delete in order to fool the ecu which is very hard to do. my egr system is not functioning properly and i'm getting poor gas mileage so i am basically running with a block off plate for now until i get the sensor i need that is bad. with out removing the senors and modifing the ecu there is no way you are or will be getting better mpg in these trucks with out that egr working properly. just because its a supposed eco friendly add on to the engine doesn't mean its instantly bad and needs to be removed. its tied into the fuel system and will make the engine run lean and effectively getting worse gas mileage and loose some power as well due to the efficiency of the engine. just my .02 cents
