Default Edge tuner

Hy guys, my edge tuner for my truck screen went out. Black. Then botton lights still work, I replaced the fuse. Tried plugging it into the computer to maybe get it working but it won't. Tells me to set the truck back to stock before updating. Only thing I can't see what I'm doing to set it back to stock. Is there a way to get direction online of step by step so I can do it without the screen? Then maybe update it and hopefully thatll fix it? Thanks

Can't you plug those into you're computer to update it? Sounds like its a problem with the tuner not the truck, unless its asking you to clear the memory by pulling the battery cable to reset it.

just curious, What motor is in your truck? And have you noticed any increases in power torque or mileage with the edge chip?

Ya there is a difference, i think its supposed to be 120hp extra but that's with the improved injectors ect I like the chip it just has its moments that **** me off. I didn't notice a change in mpg tho. Ya it's a 7.3 and the chip was bought back in 2011 so it's out of its 1 year warranty

I've been reading the the SCT is the best tuner for diesels and stick with the edge for gassers. So I may be buying a SCT

Nice, let me know if you get the SCT and how that works for you. I am looking for a good one for my 96 7.3l too. I use mostly for pulling trailers and could always use an extra pony or 2 along with torque
