Default E4OD Transmission

I need to know if a E4OD transmission from a 1994 frod van with a 351 will fit a 1994 F-150 4x4 with a 302 and E4OD Transmission?

yes...BUT as with other ford trannies the fly wheel and torque convertors are matched...

make sure you keep them together or you will have issues...dont put the 351's torque converter on the 302 flywheel...and vice versus...keep the flywheel of the vehicle the tranny came off of...or swap the torque converters...so they stay matched...

I learned this lesson the very hard way....

Thanks for the response. I have another question about the tailshaft length. From what i've been reading a 2wd tranny has a longer shaft than the 4wd. Is this the case and if so how do I fix it?
