Default E-fans

so i am thinking about putting two e fans on my truck instead of the factory fan, and wondering how big can i go? will two 16" ones fit? thanks alot, kyle.

no but 2-14 will if you stagger them and trim them very slightly....

measure you rad from core to core on the inner side...mine was 27.5in

X2. No way to fit 16's, especially if you run a shroud. Bowtie and I are running 14's, mine has a shroud, his doesn't, both trucks run fine.

Really? You guys got 2 14"s to fit on the same side? The units I got had nothing to trim from them and I couldnt stagger them enough to get them to work out. Dang I didnt think it could be done

I may have to go and readdress the situation.

i i'm gonna go with the 2 speed controller from these guys

and pickup some fans from a taurus at the local pick and pull, they come with 2 12" fans, i think

I'd have a shroud if some one made me one...

but yes stagger the 14s according to flow...bottom one sits right at the rad house and then stagger the top to sit at the upper rad hose...

The way my fans are the side are straight and not fully round all the way around...I lined up the straight sides to fit inside the core....then right where they meet in the center a little trim made them fit perfect...it took a very slight notching in each fan and they fit perfect...

ah yea I really want one...well if it isnt too expensive...

I tried to get one made locally but no one can bend the edges thin enough for the 3/4in lip....
