My understanding is that the bronco tank's almost a drop-in. I can't help with the rest. If you don't mind my asking, why do you want a stepside? I hate mine.

It depends on the year of the truck.

Sorry I meant to say F150 not F140...and its a 1994. I bought a stepside bed for it this summer, the only one in a 100 mile radius of me was a red single tank. I want a step side because it raises the value of my truck a good bit over a fleet side says Kelly Blue Book. Why do you hate your stepside? I think stepsides make it look really sporty.

Yea but unless you actually plan on putting anything of size back there..... you can barely fit a push mower in a step side. I know the dual tank sys is farely simple but kinda complex on my '96 150 5.0, each tank has its own supply and return, so your best bet is to find a single rear tank in the junk yard and pull the fuel lines( if they aren't rusted) and just run new ones instead of foolin' around trying to get your sys to work. now what to do with the switch.....??? im guessing if you get a wireing diag. you can probably just unplug the connector and loop or just leave it rear tank.

my 94 broncos tank is listed as 32 gal. if i were doing what you're talking about, i'd either get all new plumbing, or go the easy way and just run the front tank out, and never switch to it again, just take the filler neck off and bam, you have a single tank

Dual tanks have a tee fitting in the lines while single tanks have a junction block so you need the junction block. You also need the jumper for the tank switch but you can wire that yourself if needed.
