dual exhaust on 93 F150
hey everybody, I have a 93 F150 with a Jasper 302, long headers, and true dual exhaust, all on the truck when i got it. It has always ran a little rough particularly at idle. I decided to dump the codes and I am getting a "52" KOEO code and "33" (EGR valve) and "41" continuous codes. The continuous code "41" is "HO2S - no sensor switching detected." So the million dollar question is will the O2 sensor ever work properly with dual exhaust. Since it only measures half the exhaust with this set up i am wondering if that is the reason i am getting this code. Thanks for taking a look, any feedback is appreciated.

I have a 95 f150 with the 5.8 I have true dual no cats juts 12 inch glasspacks and have had no problem. I put shorty headers on it and the only problem i have had was i replaced a header gasket that went out after about 2 years and ever since then the check engine light comes on for a little bit every once in a while.

41 also means system lean, which goes hand in hand with EGR problems. The oxygen sensor should work fine off one side of the exhaust, like if you poured half a glass of orange juice into another glass. They are both still orange juice and taste the same with the same ingredients but less to stimulate your taste buds.
The only problem would be if there's a problem with the bank the oxygen sensor isn't in, the oxygen sensor wouldn't sense it. Adding an X or H pipe with the sensor there should take care of that.
