Gentleman, I'm taking a 18 hour drive this weekend. (western Florida to the coast of CS then to northern VA and PA). I was wondering if there would be any noticeable gains by dropping the front drive shaft. When I get up there I'll put it back on so I can play in the PA snow but Is it worth it? and will I damage anything by doing so?

 

No leave it in it shouldnt turn if the tcase is in 2wd and the hubs are unlocked.
