Default Drop Brackets

Just got a '94 F-150 with a 6" suspension lift. When I got it the sway bar was off and it had no drop brackets. I wanted to build some but I didn't know how big to go. Does anyone know how much to drop them? I heard it was an inch for every inch of lift but I didn't know if that was true or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If the truck is lifted 6" then the stabilizer needs to be dropped 6" to keep everything as close to factory orientation as possible.

Get a drop pitman arm too if it doesn't have one already. That really f's things up without one.
