Default Downshifting Problem

I have an 87 ford f150 and going up through the gears is fine but when it comes time to go from 3rd to 2nd gear its hard to downshift, if i double clutch theres no problem at all. Also my clutch pedal goes all the way to floor, could this have something to do with the shifting problem? And how would I maybe go about fixing this? All advice would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum! Most probably the problem is in the clutch wear out. I suggest to start with bleeding the clutch.

Yes, look for leaks and try bleeding the clutch. I had a lot of problems with my '87 clutch system, including firewall flex (recall item), and worn pedal bushings causing excessive play in the pedal.
