Default Door locks.

Okay my 1995 supercab has power locks ( one door anyway.. ) anyway I only got an ignition key with the truck. No fob either. How could I lock the doors? Could I have keys made? Or do I have to buy new locks? ( the stupid PO of my truck replaced one of the doors with a manual window and lock door... )

On my 95 the ignition key fits doors only one key . Did you try your key?

yeah. It's cut totally different. I'm thinking it had 2 keys and no fob originally.

On my 94 f150 it came with 2 keys per set. One for the ignition and the other for unlocking the doors

that's what I thought.. Oh well I doubt anyone will try stealing out of it.. Unless they want the whole truck. Haha. I'll probably get the locks keyed or have them make a new key for the door and replace the driver lock and have it matched or something.

I would get a price from a locksmith to make it correct.

If you don't mind doing it yourself, you can buy a lock set, with door locks and the ignition cylinder, and the keys.

It's very easy to change the locks in the doors. I did when I bought my truck. Probably be cheaper than whatever a locksmith can do.

He's saying keep the ignition key but get either a locksmith to make you a key for your door or get a new set of locks and keys for your door and install them.
