My dome light wont come on when either door is opened but it will work by turning the light switch counterclockwise
The pass side switch appears to be good and the drivers makes the chime for the key in the ignition work if I wiggle it some
I put a new switch on the pass side but it didnt help
If the drivers is bad would it keep the pass from working?

Try replacing the other switch.

If the drivers side switch only works if you wiggle it some, replacing it would be a easy way to see if thats your problem.
