Default Distrubutor help!!

I recently purchased this http://www.summitracing.com/parts/PR...UP&prefilter=1
to replace my stock distributor cause it was actin CRAAAZYAA. i got it today about 10 minutes ago from the UPS man and when i took it out of the box i was like WTF!!!! it only has a 3 prong setup, when my old one had a 4 prong setup. how do i make this work?

Your distributor is Vac advance? Carburetor? What engine/year?

thats a 1 wire hook up....just as the picture shows the 3 wires coming out if the distributor base hook to the rear part of the cap connector...inner most towards the cap...

the outer connector is for the Battery wire and Tac wire...the battery wire should be a heavy 10ga wire...only wire you need to hook up to make it run...

It is basically a GM HEI distributor top on a Ford shaft....they are easy to install because of the 1-wire hook up...

drop in in...in time and hook up the bat wire and run it....

the Bat wire is the Ign wire that has juice with the key on...

I think the computer will miss communication with the old distributor. Poor lonely computer.

these were made for ease of use and for people with a very basic idea of ignition....

In Fuel-Injection setups the ECU controlled solution should ALWAYS be used...
