well you need 3 things to start. Fuel Fire and compression. to test those you will need noid light (or nose if desperate) And fuel pressure gauge spark tester (or screwdriver) and compression gauge. you have checked for spark, Check for fuel and compression. once to will catch but not continue to run we will do more advanced diagnosis

Well I also don't believe I'm getting fuel to the injectors. I took the cap off the fuel rail and tried to start it and no fuel came out.

Start simple, dump some gas in the throttle body and see if it starts.

I tried that with carb cleaner and starter fluid. No luck.

Cap off the fuel fail? do you mean the dust boot off the shreider valve? looks like a tire valve stem? if so fuel will not come out without depressing the needle valve in middle . its where you hook up a fuel pressure gauge. If you mean something else I would be interested in what you mean. you can check fuel by removing spark plugs and trying to start car. Air fuel mixture will be pushed out the sparkplug hole and will be easy to smell.

What does it do with the starter fluid. It should start and die if you have spark and compression even without gas.
