disc brake conversion?
I'm in the process of a SAS on my 92 f150. I got to thinking while I'm at it I might as well rebuild the rear 8.8 just to be safe. I hate the drum brakes on it and would really like to convert it to a disc brake setup. I know its possible I just have no idea even how to begin. Anyone ever done this? Or have any ideas how to do it? Any bit helps. Thks
Hmm thts funny I "live" on tht site and never seen tht kit. Thnks! But any idea how I would make the ebrake work? It says I need additional linkages and whatnot...this is new to me so I have no idea what they mean
unless you can find a car in a salvage yard the 79-85 El Dorado, Riviera, or Tornado the ebrake hardware is un findable,
that is the same caliber harware i need to turn my sterling axle into a disk, and i called all the salgave yards within 200 mile to no avail

Thts no good. Here in PA we need the e-brake for inspection. Can you maybe tell me exactly wht parts I need to pull off incase I find one of these cars? Or stumble upon the part online? Thks

By newer I mean 97 98...around there. I couldn't tell you If they'd be the same width but the leafs will bolt up the same. Worth looking into, lots more parts availible and no searching junk yards for unfindable parts.
