Default Did I pay to much?

Okay, hope I don't take any **** for this but I bought a single cab 1992 Ford F150 Flareside XLT Lariat with 135,000 on the odometer for $3500. It's a 300 I6 4.9L with A/C, power windows/locks, chromed bumpers, reconditioned engine 10,000 miles ago, new valves and new brakes. It came with the original sale paper that is taped to the window. Stock model was I believe $10,000 in 1992, all the **** the original owner had them put on it from the factory, ran it up to $17,000. I live in south eastern Massachusetts. The reason I am asking this is because I am getting 50/50 feedback from everyone, the good 50% from truck guys, other 50% from people that thought I just wanted a working truck who don't look at the immaculate condition for this year.

That ain't bad. There wasn't an XLT Lariat in '92 though, it's just an XLT...

Depends.

Sounds like a pretty fair deal given the condition.

If you like the truck then don't feel like you got a bad deal. Plus, who cares what people think, It's all in what you like!

Two years ago, a guy in Collector home town got a 1996 XLT short box 4x4, reg cab, all options. Motor is a 5.8/351 with automatic.
Steve paid $2500 for his, and only had 96,000 on the clock

i payed 3500 for my 96 3 years ago with 79k miles and not a scratch. in this area 3500 even for a 88 f150 is normal. so what you payed is norm.

Brother you only paid too much if you can't look at her in the morning! All in all, sounds pretty fair. Waiting on the pics.
