damn cel
you right i meant the egr regulator and its working properly i have tested it and even swapped it out no change. the egr valve is brand new replaced it on sat and did get way better cold starts. this is a shot in the dark here but i did do a timing bump but was not happy with the results so changed the timing back to 10 deg but did not regap the plugs this problem started a week or so after
According to your ECU, the thermactor problem has been present for some time & still ongoing. Have you checked them for their electrical & Vac connections.
i didnt have any codes when i did the bump. i put msd coil, cap, and rotor ford racing wires and ac delco copper core plugs and bumped it up to 13 deg. i did check all of the wire harness when i did the swap. i also changed all of the vac lines while i had the motor out. also checked it all after the swap. after the swap i didnt have any codes for almost a month and drove it about 200 miles a week. the air pipe that goes to the cat was rotted away i fixed that while doing the swap.

You changed gap to what?
You didn't like what about the bump?
the stock gap was .042
i changed the gap to .055
i did not like the results because it improved the top end but lost on the bottom end little slugish from a stop and it did not improve my mpg at all it stayed the same

You stayed w/ 87 octane?
dont think low compression is the problem i pulled the motor from a 1990 f150 in a junk yard the truck had 70,000 miles on it. when i got it home and on the engine stand i noticed a jasper decal on the block. i went back to the junk yard and looked threw the truck and found the papper work on the motor the thing had less then 50 miles on it. i do tend to over do things i changed every gasket and sensor on the motor when i had it on the stand oil pan and gasket, head gasket, valve cover gasket, front and rear main seals i mean everything every pully harmonic balancer everything. this motor was spotless on the inside there wasnt even that brownish tint on the metal it was a nice bright silver inside. now im thinking what is wrong with this thing the donor truck wasnt hit why would this guy scrap it. when i went to replace the fuel injectors this idiot put 8 different injectors in i mean different name brands, sizes, lbs some where longer then others by almost an 8th of a inch. this motor had to run like **** if it even ran at all. any way i live in a appartment so i did all of this in my parents garage my pop did a compression test while i was at work he said it had really good compression dont know what the numbers where though. anyway the truck ran really good i didnt do the bump for performance i did it to get better mpg and maybe i worded my comment about the results of the bump wrong. it really had no bad effects and did drasticly improve the top end power of the truck but like i said i also lost a little pep on the low end but it still ran real good. i just prefer more low end power and the mpg stayed the same so i time it back to 10 deg but left the spark plug gap at .055 about a week after that is when i started geting the cel light under load

I see what your saying. But nothing to do w/ a Thermactor Fault code, unless you accidentally disconnected the wires/ connector(s) or Vacuum hose(s) connected to them when you did the ignition system upgrade.

update the cel came on at all times dont turn off ran the codes this is what came up 33,7,33,7 then a long pause then 1 flash then 32,7,33,2,33,4,33,7,32,7,33,2,33,4 and so it just keeps doing this i asure you i have done this dozens of time and know that is not normal then i did the koer test and came up with311,337 and 538 now i know these are the same codes i mentioned on previous posts but like i said i have done the many time and i am doing the goose test i am know getting a slight irratic idle and it did stall out on me twice and it is not in safe mode any more i am so stumped on this its not even funny i have checked every wire every plug every sensor O i found something i did not change with the motor there is a plate that is held on with the egr bolt has a round motor looking thing attached to it with a vac hose going from the tb threw this thing and to a square box on the passanger side has something to do with fuel vapor i belive i get alot of vacume from the tb but on the other side of this part the vacum is almost unnoticabe but there is some vacum and does not change if i rev it
There is no "7", "2" or "4" alone, so must be a continuation of the two previous numbers. Possible?

i know there are no codes 7,2 or 4 trust me i must of done this 5 times today and get the same thing every time the computer is spitting out these single digit codes. i know everybody makes mistakes once in a while but like i said i am not new to this process ive done it more times then i can count and its spitting out single digit codes and it wont stop doing it intill i start the truck to do the koer test every other time i did it i would get the codes twice then thats it the light would go out and i moved on to the koer test i sat there for almost 20 min and watched this cel light just keep going the code 33 and 32 always took turns coming up but the single digits where random another reason why im say its not right any chance the cpu is taking a crap
