Default custom intake on the 4.9

i put to cone filters (bomez racing) on each in take tube. it seems to give it more power and it sounds cool. i filled the gas tank up so im going to see what it does for the mpg. i also have a turbo muffler by cherry bomb in the mail im cutting off the second cat and running a 3in pipe to the muffler the im just use the stock tail pipe i hope it sounds alright.

I would like to see some pictures also. I have a 88 f150 4.9 300 and i was wondering what i can do to the intake without buying an expensive new intake. I was thinking about changing the throttlebody to a single tube, not the duel, but nobody knows which one will fit over. also wondering about your mpg. I want to see how you have it all setup.

why would you want single throttle bodies instead of dual throttle bodies?

Do you weld? Just cut off the cats, hollow them out, and weld them back on. I did it to mine and it gave it a different sound and looks like they are still there. They hollow out fairly easy, took me about an hour, not including the welding.
And yes, lets see some pictures.
