Is this the same CSS (switch assymbly) attached to the clutch that you were refering to originally, because this thread seemed to have jumped onto another switch centered around the cruise control (ceiling fan-like switch)? If so, then you will need to make sure that it is connected correctly to get it to engage. The CSS Switch should have a pin the fits into a clip that is attached to the Master slave cylinder (which btw, if you replaced the old one, you would have needed to transfer onto the new one otherwise the switch would ride the rod and not work properly). The switch will need to rest in this clip and be positioned on the thin section of the pushrod, also you will need to push it onto the rod as far up as possible, you shoud hear it snap into place. This will keep the switch in place as the rod is pushed in and out. Finally there is a retainer clip that fits on top of the switch. The picture shoud give you all the info you need.
