Default Cruise Control

My CC decided to stop working today! I'm really bummed about it because I spend about 2 hrs a day on the highway and it was really nice to just set the cruise and go! Any ideas on how to trouble shoot, or should I just learn how to keep a steady speed with my "lead foot"?

Does your horn still work? Did you maybe notice the airbag light flashing? Just trying to eliminate the clockspring as being the culprit.

Any sort or problem with the brake lights can cause problems too. Or the clutch pedal switch.

There is also a box under the hood that can fail. I can't remember the specific name of it, nor do I know how to test it. But I know its there and important LOL

Checked the horn and it works, and I didn't see any airbag light.

Brake lights seem okay, not sure how to check the clutch pedal switch. And I looked for boxes in there but didn't see any!!!

Thanks for the quick replies! I'll keep checking and see what else I can find...

Well I figured out what was wrong with the CC! Apparently the idiot that changed out the spark plugs took the CC connector off the master cylinder to get it out of the way, then forgot to put it back on!!

Oh, wait, I guess that was me...

Oh well, problem solved!

All is right with the world (at least my portion!)
