Default Cracked m5od case

Has anyone tried HTS2000 wanting to try it on a cracked tranny case.

I've seen some great repairs with them. High heat is the key. Problem with a crack is, you possibly need to grind it out wide enough for the rod to fill it in. Not sure about doing that on a tranny. If you just braze the crack, your going to just put a layer of aluminum over the top of it and not fill it in. A true aluminum weld will be part of the case rather than a bandaid. HTS2000 is great for aluminum breaks as it will bond with two surfaces. Hence the need to open up the crack for a stronger repair.
