Default Cracked Frame

My '90 has a cracked frame right at the steering box. It's not pretty. It would be really difficult to weld a plate over it because the frame is really curvy and bumpy right there. I partially welded it up but it's only temporary until i figure something out permanently. An suggestions on what to do??

its cracked at the steering box, if it fissures while driving and your face is introduced to the steering wheel....you will have a deviated septum until you get the pine box treatment.

if anything im sure you can take it somewhere and get the frame fixed , then it would be a good idea if you sanded the rest and had it undercoated

the frame is supposed to maintain integrity, if it cracks in one place, it could crack in another. When it stresses the relief weld, what is his next course of action? I know, actually telling him that the current condition of his vehicle could harm him is soooo far off base.

I had it done by the shop foreman at a big dealership downtown where I work. He is going to work on it later this week to fix it good up.

Dude. Find a junk truck with a straight frame. Take your cab off and put it on new frame. You will get hurt. Most likely killed. For once follow what people say here.
