Hey 96f150351w. I'm experiencing the same issue on the Brackets for the Core Support on my 1995 F150 XLT 5.0L 4X4. Apparently there are no "Weld On" Brackets avaialble for this type of "Collapsable Frame" only the Bolt On type from LMC Truck of Jeffs Bronc Graveyard. I'm about to remove my Radiator Core Support and tackle this issue. I was wondering how your project turned out and if can offer any advice on how to go about replacing these Brackets?

Guy hasn't been around here in seven years. I wouldn't expect a reply. Are you certain yours are roached? I just did this last week on a rusty '92 and mine were fine.

Edit: NM, those do look pretty bad.

I'll know more once I start the diassambly. Maybe a week or two out. I have the Core Support and new Absorbers with associated hardware ready to go. I also have these "Frame Savers" from Jeffs Bronco Graveyard. I may have to learn how to weld to install them into the top of the existing brackets if they arent too far gone. In that caseI may have to figure out how to weld on the "Bolt On Brackets like the orignal poster did.

Did you ever get the core support brackets replaced? I'm about to hit the order button on a new Core Support from LMC for my '93. The brackets on mine are also welded on - no rivets. Trying to decide if I jump into the replacement of the brackets.
